Also Well Dressings and Castleton Garland Day. We then travel through the East Midlands, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Rutland and Lincolnshire to the port of Boston.

I am an amateur photographer from Cleethorpes and a member of Cleethorpes Camera Club.
I have been taking photographs since I was young, following in the footstepsof my Dad and Grandad and like to have a go at any subject.
With this talk, I will be looking at Street Photography, Documentary, Sport, nature Travel and Portraiture. I do like to play with some of my images in Photoshop and create composites , possibly with some AV work too.

Although my interest in photography is wide ranging my passion is for the real and surreal stories and theatre of the street.
For me, the street is where much of the pathos, comedy and irony of life can be found, by those willing to stop and look.

As usual, Audio visual has been put together by Ashley Franklin and Jim Hartje, so we are in for an enjoyable evening.

Dave is a long term member of NNPS who initially specialised in landscape photography.
This talk will show lots of examples of how he’s more recently focussed on many different types of people photography, both within the landscape and also indoors using both natural and artificial light.
Some of the images will include tasteful nudity.

A lifelong member of Bolsover Camera Club, a keen exhibitor and competitive photographer with a wide and varied interest in photography.
"100 prints" covers favourite subjects such as Creative Portraiture, Sport, Nature, Street Photography and more.
There is something for everyone, together with stories and techniques.

I have been a professional photographer for over 40 years now. I am an ambssador for LEE Filters and am supported in my workby BENRO, Shimoda, Billingham and Pacer Poles. As former ambassador for Fujifilm, I have delivered dedicated workshops for them and LEE.
In my time at The Home Office, I was the Director of the national photography and video course.
With my 'other hat on' I also produced and directed nigh on 300 tv programmes and multi media products for them of which several won national and European broadcast awards.

A chronicle of my life from the time I got my first camera.
The talk spans more than 60 years and is in two parts.
Part 1: Film.
Part 2: Digital.
The talk is not intended to showcase award winning photography, but to show how my photography has evolved over the years.
However, it does contain images that have won awards as well as those that I would now consider as not very good.

> 05-May-2026 "Free Mines Coal Faces" - Nick Hodgson FRPS MA
Nick Hodgson is a British documentary landscape photographer based in London.
His talk "Free Mines Coal Faces", is about his documentary project on coal free mining in the Forest of Dean, which formed part of his Photograhy MA, his successful FRPS panel submission, an award winning book and various exhibitions.
Nick is a member of the RPS Distinctions Panel for the Applied and Documentary photography genres.
In the first section of the talk, Nick discusses mining photography that he researched to inform him about his own approach to the subject matter.
After the break he will go through a selection of his images and how he shot them, with as much technical detail as the audience wants - which is usually at a fairly high level, but he is very happy to go into detailed specifics.
He finishes by talking about post-production and printing, showing physical examples of his F panel, which the audience can also look at in the interval.
